Psychotherapist services
Some people try to solve their problems in relationships with other people on their own (which, to be honest, rarely gives a noticeable effect, and after some time the person risks stepping on the same rake again), others decide to approach them comprehensively and thus cut this Gordian knot once and for all.
Thus, problems with building correct communications are perfectly solved by psychotherapy, and more specifically, group psychotherapy, which allows us to get rid of many problems for a long time, if not forever, which are based on our inability to properly build relationships with others.
But let’s be honest: most people have a very vague idea of what group therapy is. And for many, working in such groups is akin to, for example, meetings of Alcoholics and Drug Addicts Anonymous. Meanwhile, this is not entirely true.
And today I will try to talk about group therapy as if “from the inside” – from the position of a person trying to break out of the vicious circle of problems, looking at the situation through the eyes of my clients, associated with repeated repetition of the situation when:
— time after time you choose as your partner a person who puts pressure on you, devalues you, levels your achievements, etc.;
— you constantly experience discomfort in any company or work group, you feel like a stranger everywhere;
– you feel that you are underestimated, and in general you are treated unfairly;
– you realize that you constantly find fault with others, your family, criticize your children, and you can’t do anything about it;
– cheat on your partner or constantly tolerate his betrayal, hating yourself for lacking the willpower to break up.
Actually, this list of problems and complaints can be endless, but the solution to them is, in principle, one. That’s what we’ll talk about today.
